'Cause I don't wanna fall in love
If you don’t wanna try,
But all that I’ve been thinking of
Is maybe that you might
I came across this song via Facebook and the status attached to the video was meh but I took a chance; and now I can’t get the song out of my head. I downloaded it, researched the lyrics, and currently have the song on repeat. OH YEAH!
My favourite part is the bridge before the last chorus. I’m a sucker for melodic choir vocals (hence the reason I am obsessed with Paramore’s “Aint it Fun”).
WHAT IS UP?!
It’s finally Friday and I couldn’t be more excited for the weekend! I’ve got so much artsy-fartsy stuff planned for me to do. It all starts tonight after I have dinner with the BFFL (best friend for lyf - yeah I spelled life as lyf)!
I’m so excited to share with y’all the EDM mix I made for my shoe-addicted friend who requested for it. I already had a few tracks in mind that I knew he had to listen to but then I got lost in all the new music I’ve been stumbling upon, that I ended up back at square one for the tracklist. Yikes! But it’s all good now. It should be up as soon as I can find my iLok code for ProTools again. Oh the pain.
Can’t wait to get to blogging! I’ve missed telling the internet my thoughts on weird things. — Oh wait! I might start a personal photography blog too! It feels a bit wrong to bombard this blog with photos when I said it was mainly for all things music related. So check that out once I can come up with a witty blog name (yeah, that’s going to take a while hahaha).
But for now, I’ll leave you with Dillon Francis’ latest remix. He claims it to be the happiest remix he’s ever done; and I agree 100%! I love his work, and I love his wit, this track is definitely the cherry on top (for me).
So when people leave, I’ve learned the secret: let them. Because, most of the time, they have to.
Let them walk away and go places. Let them have adventures in the wild without you. Let them travel the world and explore life beyond a horizon that you exist in. And know, deep down, that heroes aren’t qualified by their capacity to stay but by their decision to return.
THE WAIT IS OVER! WALK THE MOON IS (FINALLY) BACK WITH NEW MUSIC!
This came into my life just when I needed a pick-me-up the most.
Ready and Willing - New Found Glory
Yeah, I know it’s been a while since I last posted a song on the blog. I’ve been letting life get in the way, and it’s been great. There’s so much I want to tell you all but I think I’ll let the music speak on my behalf. :)
Enjoy! And don’t worry, I’ll be updating more often. WOOOOH!
It’s a perfect day out in the city of Ortigas, Philippines. Wish I was at the beach instead of this office. I could definitely use some R&R right now.
It’s been a while since I’ve gotten to update my blog and it’s a shame. I have so much music, photographs, and videos that I am dying to share with you all. Hopefully my moments of silence didn’t encourage you to stop visiting FINDINGTRIXIE.
How Will I Know (Dalton Remix) - Sam Smith
I love the original cover, and I love this remix. Dalton is an NYC gem and I am honoured to have come across his work. With remixes like this, I wonder how much more amazing his original music is!
And it gets better, Dalton has put up this track up for a FREE download! How could you not take the opportunity?
